What is Acugems Facial Rejuve?
Acugems is an innovative, and highly effective, method for facial and whole-body rejuvenation
that uses a synergistic combination of healing gemstones, microcurrent stimulation and various
colors of visible light, in conjunction with special skin care products. These are all aspects of
what is often called “vibrational healing”. The intention of all of these factors is to support the
client in revealing her true beauty by opening and harmonizing her heart center. This, in
combination with the local lifting, toning and youthing effects on the skin and dermis, provides
masterful and gratifying results.
The word “vibrational” refers to oscillating, or pulsating energy fields. Vibrational energy makes
up everything in the Universe that is seen and unseen. Scientists are able to measure a wide
range of vibrational energies, from extremely low frequencies of electricity to ionizing gamma
rays, as shown in this diagram:
As you can see, electrical microcurrents are usually applied in the extremely low frequency range
(all the way to the left on this chart), while colors of visible light are in the extremely high
frequency range (billions of cycles per second). In fact, visible light is the highest form of
measurable frequency that is safe to apply to the human body for long term application.
This “high-low” combination of microcurrent and light has been proven to be highly effective for
a wide range of acupuncture or related health care and pain relief applications, working on both
the Root and Branch (symptomatic) levels.
So where do gems fit in? The frequencies emitted by gems, especially when energized with
microcurrent and light, fall all over the electro-magnetic spectrum. Gems and minerals have
been used since ancient times for healing purposes ranging from those that address gross
physical symptoms (pain relief, healing acceleration, digestive upsets, etc) to highly refined
spiritual applications (opening chakras, promoting expanded consciousness, clarifying
meditation). This next diagram shows the relationship between microcurrent, light and gems on
the electro-magnetic spectrum:
As stated above, microcurrent falls in the very low end of the spectrum, targeting physical lifting,
toning and regeneration of skin, fascia, muscle and collagen. Visible light falls in the highest safe
band of the spectrum, and helps switch on many healing, energy-releasing, hormonal and
energy-balancing effects on the cellular and energetic levels. This is the factor that helps restore
the face to youthful glow and coloration. All of these energies interface with what modern
researchers now call the “living matrix” – the incredibly sophisticated network of life functions
and communications that constantly works to keep us healthy and balanced. This matrix
includes the neuro-peptides, or “molecules of emotion” written about by Dr. Candace Pert in her
landmark book by that name.
Gems, depending on which ones are selected for treatment, can amplify and enhance treatment
on all levels. By the way, the color bands shown for gems in this diagram are for example only,
and do not necessarily indicate any specific gem - frequency correlations. The arrow on the right
end of the diagram indicates that the frequencies of gems can be so high as to literally be “off
the chart” of what can be measured by modern scientific tools.
Our research over the last 8 years has confirmed that the healing power of gems is greatly
enhanced and released when certain gems are stimulated with microcurrent and color light.

Acugems and Oriental Medicine
There are two beneficial aspects to Acugems treatment. One is a "root" harmonizing treatment
that is custom designed to address the issues of the patient/client. The root treatment regulates
the flow of energy (qi) and removes blockages in the meridians (channels of qi and blood) to
improve overall health and restore balance to the body. This constitutional treatment addresses
underlying causes, like digestive problems, hormonal imbalance and emotional stress, which
become reflected in the face through dark circles, dry or lusterless skin, sagging skin, drooping
