I did some teaching and demonstrations at Andrews Air Force base last Friday. Dr. Richard Niemtzow, creator of the Battlefield Acupuncture system, introduced me to many of his colleagues.  They brought some of their toughest patients to me, and I also treated some stubborn pain cases for some of the docs. Each person had wonderful results. I believe that Microlight Sequence Therapy and PNE therapy for PTSD can be great assets for treating our wounded warriors and veterans. They want me to return in a few months to offer expanded trainings.

Do you have any experiences treating patients in the military?

Here is a protocol to help your shingles patients:

Shingles

  Ear points may be effective – choose from thorax, zero, shenmen, occiput, thoracic, affected ear   dermatomes

  Body acu-points – GB 34, TW 5, any tender distal GB points.  Use polarized probe treatment.

  Use Four-Step balancing for chronic cases (see Microcurrent Electro-Acupuncture book, available from EWS 1-888-803-7397)

Colors-  Acute – Indigo (reduces secretions, absesses, astringent), Green (antibacterial and anti viral) 

For long-standing cases, rebuild the motor nervous system with Lemon (chronic alterative) plus Yellow for 2 weeks (stimulate nervous system), then Lemon and Orange for 4 weeks (tissue stimulant).  Use Violet or Purple for local pain control.

This is a rare video showing the actual techniques I use to treat patients with neurologic degenerative diseases such as M.S., Parkinsons, peripheral neuropathy and others using microcurrent and light (Microlight) electro-acupuncture.  Please post your comments and experiences!
