I work a lot with trigger points and have good success by releasing them with acupuncture. I have not tried probe #3, so will give it a try tomorrow with a first time patient. i am interested in seeing the results.
Hello, Darren
It was such a delight to hear from you today! Video was great, although I have often wondered how you test for color, and I saw the o-ring kinesiology testing done on this video. That was good to know.
I am very much looking forward to the information you will be sending. Thanks so much!
Patricia
Hi Patricia, Have you received the information yet? Darren
Yes, and I am reviewing it.
Great. I’ll call you early next week so we can discuss it. Have a great weekend. Darren
interesting to see the fast response and rapid changes. also the trigger point release was also very good to see.
You will get a major download of information this weekend Al. I look forward to meeting you. Darren
I have not used Probe Preset #3 yet – so that was a nice intro to that next/additional level. Thanks
I can see that the treatments are really doing something, fast relief.
Thank you Darren,
Love this presentation as you can go back and forth as much as you like.
I make notes at the same time to remember better. Do you often use fingertest to decide color?
Hi Simone, Yes I use the O Ring kinesiology test for confirming color use. How was your visit to Michael and Lise? Darren
Hi Darren
Had a long trip from Sweden to Denmark, our train was delayed due to bad whether conditionss and we arrived by midnight instead of early evening and because of that our meeting with Michael and Lise was redused to 2 hrs. but very effective hrs for sure
Lise instruct me as much as possible, giving me some basics regarding the different programs aso. Good information.
But do you have any pictures in your book or elsewhere, showing the display and the different possibilities to choose between and why. Feel like I need to know a little bit more about that. But perhaps the DVD explain this in a step by step way?
Hello Simone, I’m glad you had 2 high quality hours with Lise and Michael. I will email you a link for a webinar recording about operating the Acutron on a technical level. That should help you get a feel for it. We also have the Microcurrent Electro-Acupuncture book available. You will get plenty of good training with the 2 DVDs and 4 manuals that come with the Acutron, so you will be able to learn it with some short study. Regards, Darren
I have a patient with a similar pain pattern. I’m nxious to try it on them.
Hi Catherine,
Please write back on the blog after you treat the patient to let me know how it works. Darren
Thanks again.
Thank You again Darren for this great presentation of sequence treatments. I love the U-Tube presentation as one can go back amd review the sequence as many times as desirable.
I had the same question as Helen as to why you moistened the Q tips when applying color light only, and I was also curious about the fact that the light and the cotton probe are several millimeters apart therefor the light may miss the acupuncture point, eventhough there’s no denying the results.
Hi Hetty – the reason I moistened the Q tip when using light only was HABIT, no benefit to the patient! As far as the distance of the Q tip to the light pipe, that does not matter much as getting the correct color into the near vicinity of a point has a strong effect. Each point has an aura of energy, and is very sensitive to light. The new version of the color light probe that was released last October now has the light surrounding the tip rather than to the side.
Dr. Starwin, did you use the bi-phasic probe #1 along the interior border of the scapula, and what color light filter did you use?
Hello Catherine, Yes, that part of that treatment inside the scapula was using Probe #1 biphasic with blue light. I know that part was hidden, and I edited some of the Acutron set up out of that video to keep it short. Darren
Thanks for the interesting video. It was helpful to see the use of color only and then complemented by the other microcurrent therapies, especially along the cervical nerve roots. This is very new to me, and I don’t know much about acupuncture, so any treatments I can do without having to understand the meridians is helpful.
I have to put my two cents in. Being a chiropractor, although your results are great and taught me new things, I think you were trying to say she needs to deal with the mechanical side as well. Mentioning this at the end of course I noticed, but most of your repliers and watchers must be acupuncturists. Instrument adjusting works extremely well and that pain in the pectoralis is a classic point for a shoulder adjustment as administered by the “Impulse” method.
The other thing I kind of question is the lack of any kind of history at all in this case the first thing I would ask is if she had any old injuries (MVA) as well as what other treatment she’d had. And I personally would not consider this such a complex pain study. When someone has an old injury that was never treated this is a common presentation. But I will have to try using the color alone. Thanks!!
Hi Jeanne, This is where your chiropractic knowledge really helps – the pain referred from mechanical issues. In this patient’s case there were probably some of those and also emotional overlays that I believe pre-disposed her to this recurring pain. I believe she had already consulted a chiropractor without any relief. One issue with these videos is that I need to keep them very short to keep my watcher’s attention so a lot of valuable diagnostic and history info is not included. Your point well taken. Darren
Yes the mind-body connection is very powerful. And as a chiropractor I am pre-disposed to always checking out the mechanical issue. Thanks again.
A great video!! Is possible to use a green light to sedate and a red light to tonify at the same time? What would the polarity be?
Thanks,
Andy
Hello Andy in Australia – Yes, that is possible. The new color light probe does allow the use of different colors in the two probes. I have not experimented with that approach yet, but I do believe that it is viable and could improve some results. Green and red light are complimentary, so I can imagine how combining them at the same time could be powerful. Darren
Viirginia says:
Very good video.
Thank you for sharing.
Fast results for a complex pain problem. You’ve included alot of different approaches to tackle this pain. Use of the complimentary colors was interesting too. Thanks Darren.
Hi Lynn, most of these videos illustrate the sequence therapy system. Have you tried using it yet? Darren
I really liked this video very informative and i need to study up on complementary colors
Another great demonstation. Its amazing to see how effective and fast the color txments are on their own.
Thank you Darren for sharing this wonderful case.
I was interested in the demonstration of the colour only through the heart region and the fact that it had a good result. I wondered why you had to wet the probes for this part off the treatment.
Also ,as the colour probe is parallel to the Q-tip and separated by a few mms. how does it have an effect on the acupuncture point?
These are academic questions as one cannot argue with the results!!!!
Regards
Helen
Super video, I am amazed to see how effective the acutron treatment is.
Many thanks
Amazing to see such fast results. Thank you for the demonstration with light only, I sometimes forget to test for other colors and use of complementary colors. I love the ease of using the Acutron for clearing trigger points. It saves my hands and will keep me working for many more years!
Thank you for sharing this wonderful sequence of treatments. It’s amazing how quickly she showed good results!
How can colored light penetrate that fast in a human body? Are you sure that the improvement isn’t caused by concentrating the mind on the spots? Can you please explain? Thanks!
When microcurrent is combined with color light it penetrates rapidly through skin resistance through the open acupuncture points deeply into the body. The body’s energy fields are very sensitive to light and color as information that triggers various responses. Microcurrent opens the conductive pathways, light moves in and does its healing work. Very good case study, You have done it very simply in a tough disorder.
What a delight to see commonly sensitive baxie points treated with so little effort!
And I marvel again at what would have been an hour of session time (a few sequential treatments with insertion of a dozen or so total pins and the stimulation of the pins) with take home EO applications completed in less than 10 minutes.
Again, impressive results for a chronic condition that has been resistant to other forms of therapy. Was nice to see how light therapy alone was effective for resolving part of the complex pain pattern.
Great case study and still get amazed at the quick results. Thanks for the reminder to use the lights by themselves.
Good work Dr. D!!!
Another great case study.
Great video, it’s amazing how fast it works. I’m interested in learning more about the complementary colors.
